Sudden Death Overtime was a long running metal radio show in Rochester. It was founded in the early 90s and was last hosted by Ragin' Ron, who took over from "Rabid" Ralph Tetta in 1999.
In February, 2009 the show moved to weekday mornings, where it continued until December 2009. The show ended when the WITR schedule was changed and the 7-9AM timeslot became reserved for the station's "core format" of modern and alternative rock. The content of the show was merged into a new specialty show on WITR called Metallic Overdrive on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM, hosted by Daniel Jacks.
Podcasts of the show from April to December can still be downloaded and will remain online indefinitely.
