Sullivan Violins was a full service string shop based in Rochester, NY specializing in the sale and service of quality violins, violas, cellos, and bows.  Kenneth Sullivan, co-owner and Master luthier is a graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making and a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers. Kenneth had over thirty years experience making, repairing, and restoring instruments.  Sullivan Violins maintained the highest level of professionalism and customer support.

Sullivan Violins curated a diverse selection of modern and vintage instruments and bows for players of all levels, from the beginner to the working professional.

Sullivan Violins strived to provide each customer with a fulfilling and comfortable experience centered around our love of instruments that inspire.

The store was previously located in the Rochester Club Centre but in May 2017 moved to Pittsford Place Mall. The store was sold and is now Payton Violins and moved to the Neighborhood of the Arts.
