Taste Of Japan Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a family owned and run restaurant and sushi bar located in Henrietta in the plaza on the corner of Jefferson and 15. It opened in August 2014.
They serve sushi until late on most nights and offer an all-you-can-eat special for less than 20 dollars. Other dishes, such as the egg rolls, dumplings, red bean dessert and matcha dumplings (green tea ice cream) are hand made from scratch and take several hours of prep work.
The owner and sole sushi chef, Fu, is well-known in Rochester for having worked for many years at his previous place of employment, Arigato Steak House. After Arigato's closure, he opened Taste Of Japan Restaurant & Sushi Bar.
