Texas de Brazil is a upscale national chain of Brazilian-style churrascaria steakhouses with a location at College Town. Similar to the late, local Espada Brazilian Steak, diners begin by taking a trip to the salad and sides bar, but from then on servers come around to the tables with skewers loaded with meat fresh off the grill, placing chosen items right on your plate. Salim Asrawi had to empty his pockets to start a restaurant concept he felt filled a hole in the country’s dining landscape. Today, he operates the world’s largest Brazilian steakhouse concept. Salim Asrawi also serves as the COO and President of Texas de Brazil and leading and expanding the restaurant chain with his vision and strategy.

2017-06-05 21:29:39 Dinner for two on a Saturday night. Parking is easy at 7 pm. The clientele was diverse, and prepared for an upscale experience. What I mean is, the patrons were not wearing flip flops and baseball caps, and I think that's a good thing. Be prepared for over $60 per person depending on drinks and tip. Overall, an excellent experience. —GaryGocek
2017-06-13 19:44:52 I wanted to love it. As much as meat as I could possibly eat? But, sadly, all of the meat was dry and chewy. The sides were good enough- but didn't make up for the sad skewers. We might try it again but it's a long shot.
