The Autism Council of Rochester is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This new agency will be providing education about Autism to the general community, schools, hospitals, and service providers. Their goal is to work with existing government and private agencies to develop specialized services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to provide transition services to young adults who are learning to live, work, and attend school independently. Families with an autistic child will be offered the education and training necessary to give their child the most opportunities in life. Group Homes will be opened for children 14-21 years.
