The food was very good, but the service was nowhere near what I would expect at an establishment of that level. Even though the bartender had plenty of time to sit around and chitchat, it took over 40 minutes to get a check, resulting in missing the first performance of the evening. 40 minutes from the time we asked for the check for it to be delivered to our hands, plus an extra 20 for her to come back and take a card. Even our visit to Michael Symon's restaurant in Cleveland was less expensive and we had apps, a main course AND dessert!!! The waiter we had was not very attentive. With maybe 5 other tables in the restaurant, I would think that he could be just slightly more attentive, we had to wait around 15-20 mins just for him to come and take our order and then waited at least 45 min for our food which was luke warm. I also have an issue with the sides being "a la carte." If I am going to pay $40 for a steak, it should at least come with some veg on the side. Charging another $12 for a starch and a veg is ridiculous to me. Definitely an experience, but not one we will be returning to any time soon. We can find food just as good at other places, or I could just cook the same thing at home for way less! I could get Wagyu beef at wegmans for less money, and it tastes better! --["Users/MinaLoy"]

I had a steak tartare appetizer that was fantastic! The beef literally melted in my mouth. The wine selection was outstanding and the staff very attentive and accomodating. The particular dining room we were in was a bit cold. A few of the guests complained and the wait staff immediately turned up the heat and offered everyone in the room free coffee or tea. There were one or two items on the menu that caused sticker shock but if you spend your time at an upscale restaurant studying the prices, you probably shouldn't be dining there in the first place. I don't recall seeing any $70 steaks on the menu (although I believe there was one around $60), but sides are all a la carte--$6 for vegetables and $5 for potatoes of various kinds--so it adds up a bit. I ordered a hanger steak that came with 3 jumbo shrimp, and it was excellent. It was extremely tender on the inside and just a bit hard on the outside, just how I like it. I got the house steak sauce with it, which tasted like a lighter, sweeter version of A1. On the side, I got homefries with pancetta, and they were somehow much tastier than typical diner homefries. --["RachelBlumenthal"]

My dry-aged slab of meat was quite good, for steak, and enough to last another meal, so that price works out to be normal. I haven't recommended this to anyone else, though.
