- So my friend was dog sitting the other week in boston, and she showed up to the apartment to find the dog dead. She was horrified, and called the couple to explain. They said that it was ok- the dog had been very old anyways, but they asked her to get rid of the body because they would still be gone a while. She didn't exactly know what to do with the dead dog (there was no place to bury it, and she didn't want to just dump it in the trash) so she decided to bring it to a vet to take care of it. Now this was no tiny lap dog, it was a lab so inorder to bring it to the vet she put it in a trash bag and in a rolling suitcase. She had no car, so she had to take the T (the subway in boston) to vet. She got on the T and a man sat down next to her, starting conversation. He was just asking her some questions to elicite conversation, and asked why she had this big suitcase. Not wanting to admit there was a dead dog in the suitcase, she said she was moving. He was surprised, and asked if this contained all of her belongings. She answered that it did- she was just bringing what was important to her. She got off at the next stop to go to the vet, and the man got off behind her.
