The following organizations each coordinate a wide variety of volunteer opportunities in the Rochester area.

Volunteer Clearinghouses

• CompeerCORPS - Seeks volunteers, who are Veterans, to provide peer support for local Veterans.
  

• Community Wishbook - lists many volunteer opportunities for not-for-profit organizations in and around the area.
  

• Flower City Philanthropy Educating Rochester residents on local nonprofits, volunteer opportunities, and charitable events
  

• Rochester AmeriCorps - a national program that engages people of all ages and backgrounds in strengthening America’s communities through service.
  

• RochesterCares - sole purpose is to connect volunteers to volunteer opportunities.
  

• UR Rotaract - service club at the University of Rochester sponsored by Rotary International.
  

• Volunteers of America - supports a variety of social services programs

all 2pm-5pm
Come help us prep the beds, start seeds, clear out old plants, paint, and help plan the garden. No experience necessary, all hands on deck!
Light refreshments will be provided.
