The WIT Federal Credit Union is a credit union serving families of a variety of local educational, transportation and union organizations. It began in 1962 serving the employees of West Irondequoit schools, and in 1984 folded in the Rochester Regional Transit Workers Federal Credit Union. It has since added a variety of other employment groups.
