2009-02-21 20:13:39   Shopped this morning at the Hudson Ave. location. Walmart's selection of ethnic foods is much improved. The prices on basic food staples, especially store-brands competes with Aldi and Price-Rite. Awaiting the new Walmart at the Northgate Plaza in Greece. It cannot come soon enough. —MrPhil

2009-02-22 09:40:32   Curious. I regularly find things priced comparably at Wal-Mart and Wegmans. Surprisingly, for several weeks, Lean Cuisine frozen meals were 40 cents to a $1 cheaper at Wegmans. Now they're 11 cents more expensive. Unless you're able to make use of the self-checkout lanes, the time it takes to check out frequently outweighs the negligible price savings, in my opinion. —DaveMahon
