About

Webster Shakespeare Festival is presented by the Business Improvement District of Webster, and began in 2006 as the first-ever outdoor summer theatre festival in Webster. WSF is committed to providing new and exciting theatrical offerings to the Webster area, as well as the Greater Rochester Community.

Current Status

" ATTENTION! - We are sad to inform you that there will not be a Webster Shakespeare Festival for summer 2008. We will be taking a hiatus to begin formulating plans for restructuring and growing our organization. It is our goal and hope to be back for summer 2009.


This website, however, will remain active {NOT ACTIVE}. Please check back for updates and important announcements.


We would like to encourage you to support our friends with the Rochester Community Players Shakespeare at the Highland Bowl. The RCP production of Shakespeare's As You Like It runs July 5-19. All performances are at 8:00pm. (For more information, click on the yellow link above.)


The WSF would like to thank you for your support and patronage. Have a wonderful summer! See you in 2009!
