["Housing"] is something that really stands out to me when I visit different places, whether the homes are big, small, modern, antique, etc. Here in Rochester, many of the houses that make up the inner city (particularly the West Side) are very large and old-fashioned. The house that I grew up in fits this description, having 6 bedrooms total and was built in the late 1800s. If you drive down streets like Arnett Blvd. or Brooks Ave., you will see dozens of beautiful, large houses in great condition. Personally, I prefer this style of home over the new houses that they have been building in the city. The new ones feel kinda artificial. Sure, they look nice, but that's just about it to me. It's just a thing of preference. The older houses just have that "home" feel to me. They are a mass produced concoction so to speak. They have a certain "realness" about them.<br> - The prices vary depending on the neighborhood, but overall, you will get the most for your money. I've seen single floor homes with less to offer cost just as much and more than these classic homes.
