Cafe Vas is a nice little cafe in the North Winton Village neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere and inviting decor. There is lots of seating and an outdoor patio. The cafe is just starting out, but looks like it is going to come together rather well.

List of drinks/snacks served is on their [WWW]website.

2008-05-27 21:04:04   Very nice to have a coffee shop in our neighborhood. It is a great little place. Good coffee and friendly staff. I will definitely be returning. —DanCurran

2008-06-27 12:47:33   Very nice-looking coffee shop with friendly staff and loud and always-present owner. The quality of their drinks is quite variable, depending who is on staff. The guy with the tattoos and piercings makes an awesome latte, and should teach the other employees how to do the same. —AdamDurand

2008-08-06 12:51:53   I also enjoy this shop. It looks like they've put together a nice (albeit modest) lunch menu with sandwiches and specials for certain days of the week. Unfortunately, I'm rarely around during lunch on weekdays, so I've yet to give their lunch menu a try. —BrettDaly

2008-09-29 11:03:45   I am a big fan of Cafe Vas. I live in the neighborhood as well as attend church in the neighborhood. They are very gracious to me as I bring a crew of 7-10 teens up there on Wednesday night to get some drinks and have Bible study. They are big fans also.

I have tried their ice tea, coffee and sandwhiches; my son has tried their hot chocolate, my daughter has tried their frapes...all of which were great.

I hope they continue to do well and become a mainstay in the neighborhood. —BenjaminDePoint

2008-12-04 20:38:55   Went by Wednesday 12-1 at lunchtime and they appeared to be closed? Not sure if it was a one-time thing or for good? —DottieHoffmann

2008-12-19 10:39:45   Still closed on December 19th. No note on the door, and nothing on their web site saying they're closed. —AdamDurand
