John Lightfoot, an environmental inspector for Monroe County, was elected to Rochester City Council in 2005. He is the nephew of Willie Lightfoot, a popular former county legislator before his death.
Lightfoot is a graduate of Edison Technical and Occupational Center, and the founder of Changing of the Scenes, a neighborhood association.
