Rochester Brooks is a shooting club located in Rush, about 30 minutes drive from downtown Rochester. It has a 200-yard rifle range, several 35-yard outdoor pistol bays available on a first-come first-serve basis, and an archery range. The pistol bays are bermed on three sides and it is permissible to practice draw from a holster. There are no indoor shooting ranges. There are multiple fields for Skeet and Trap shooting, and two multi-station Sporting Clays courses, one for beginner/intermediate shooters, and one for more advanced shooters.
The club offers training, competitions, and casual target practice. The management can put people in touch with resources for training in any of the clay disciplines. Members may bring guests as long as all safety rules are reviewed and followed.
