Scottsville Veterinary Adoptions is a nonprofit animal adoption center affiliated with the Scottsville Veterinary Hospital which operates as an animal hospital. Grooming services are available on site.

Dog and puppy adoptions are also held at PetSmart Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 3 PM. Cats and kittens are available to adopt 7 days a week.

Volunteering your time is an excellent way to help our animals. Volunteers can be involved in such tasks as:

• bathing pets
  

• taking pictures
  

• walking dogs
  

• cleaning cages and runs
  

• feeding and watering
  

• playing, socializing, and petting
  

• working on the newsletters
  

• helping at PetSmart
  

• filing paperwork
  

• adoption call-backs and phone calls
  

• showing pets for adoption, etc...
