The Barber Shop is located across from the Hess station in Monroe Village. Unisex but the clientèle is mainly male, kids too. The owner's name is Diane. Appointments preferred but walk-ins accepted as the schedule permits.

2009-08-22 07:55:45 I had a horrid experience here. Diane was more concerned with getting me in and out of the chair in under 15 minutes than she was interested in listening to how I wanted my hair done. She lunged in and started hacking away before I had a chance to think about what she said she was going to do and then she got all pissy when I freaked out about how much she'd cut off, saying "that's what I wanted." No sir. I'm going back to the Southwedge Barber Shop. —JonSchnapp
2010-11-10 23:13:30 This is my regular barber shop. When I moved here several years ago, I tried 5 or 6 different places before this one, looking for a reliable and reasonable haircut. I haven't had my hair cut elsewhere in town since. Diane and Lisa are both great, and you become a part of the family there before long. When you want to chat, the chat flows free, and if you're not in a talking mood they'll just do business. Great place and great people. Plus the place has been a barber shop forever and Diane knows the history all the way back. —EricN
