The Anarchist Reading Group is a space to discuss, anarchism, alternatives to capitalism, anti-oppression, free societies, and other liberating ideas. Typically we read sections from books and/or articles then hold open discussions. The goal is to further our understanding of what anarchism stands for, build our imagination around our potential as individuals and community members, and try to find concrete steps on how we can transform our society. All are welcome, no prior knowledge is necessary. The group is one of many classes sponsored by the [WWW]Rochester Free School. The group meets at 5:30PM on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Or, check out the [WWW]Flying Squirrel Community Space events calendar to see when the next discussion is being held. Meetings are held at the [WWW]Flying Squirrel Community Space located at 285 Clarissa St.
