Blanche Stuart Scott. c. 1910-1916
Blanche Stuart Scott (April 8, 1885 - January 12, 1970) aka Betty Scott was the first female aviator and the first woman to drive an automobile across the US. Scott was born in Rochester. Scott died at Genesee Hospital in Rochester and was buried in Riverside Cemetery.
