The Golisano Foundation, sometimes referred to as the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation, was founded in 1985 by Tom Golisano, the founder and Chairman of Paychex. The Foundation has more than $32 million in gross assets and awards more than $2 million annually to organizations that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Mission: "The B. Thomas Golisano Foundation is interested in funding programs that will help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their maximum potentials by integrating independence, self-determination, and productivity into all facets of their lives."1
