On the Web
Our On the Web page provides information about how Rochester's organizations, businesses, and other entities connect via the web and the RocWiki features that support them.
An important issue for leadership in business, organizations, community or government is their role as a stakeholder on the web, with an urgent need to help manage and control their stake in the social media, where they do not directly control the content or flow.
RocWiki has facilities to provide information about your entity, that allows other users to edit and expand it, and provides comments sections open to anyone willing to register. That means you can actively become a stakeholder to manage the factual content of related material or be the passive or reactive recipient of the impacts.
See our Putting Your Business on RocWiki and Putting Your Organization on RocWiki for details.
RocWiki Features
Our wiki implementation features a number of templates, infrastructure pages, and techniques that supports a richer interface to the information stored within our wiki. RocWiki has a number of those features directly related to the how we document the web integration of our content pages.
