2008-01-15 20:29:09   If you don't mind being a guinea pig and paying PROFESSIONAL prices then be my guest. Would not recommend this salon for any service.I have heard however that hairstylist "Edward" does any exceptional job.Personally I had acrylic nails done and the tech burned 3 of my nails with the dremmel tool!Extremely painful.Nails looked horrible. —HeidiAnn

2008-04-06 20:23:45   I have been going here for over a year to have my hair colored and cut. They do charge more than I'd like to pay but my sylist does a fantastic job. Quite frankly, I've checked out several other salons and for the quality your just going to pay more in Rochester. For my wedding everyone had their hair done here and it was a fun event-they have a little room for you to gather and chat while you wait. My wedding photo's are fabulous thanks to this place-keep up the good work! —RochesterPhoenix

2008-05-29 23:26:34   Last week I stopped in to the Pittsford location without an appointment and would like to comment on a great overall experience. Upon arrival, I was enthusiastically greeted by several of the receptionists who quickly took my name and personal information and set me up with a stylist. As I'm a grad student I don't have a lot of money to burn and decided to go with a level I stylist - the baby stylists, the way it seems to work there is the higher level stylists the more expensive the haircut. Jordan was very professional, patient in helping me mesh a couple different elements from some hairstyles I found, attentive and most importantly of all did a great job with my hair offering to give me a little walk-through for styling. For what it's worth, the vibe there was positive, I didn't feel pressured or preyed on as a consumer and it seemed as though everyone there really enjoys their job. —StephanieTodd

2008-05-30 13:50:19   I believe in Irondequoit Plaza there is also a ShearEgo. I think it's a school for stylists, but you can get your hair cut there also, for pretty cheap. I'm not sure if it's associated with these two? —SaraChristine

2008-06-24 00:37:54   Don't go to the one in Pittsford! They are all stuck up and rude. The one in Greece is much better and well worth the price. Plus their waxing beds are just amazing. —snoopyhead101

2008-07-09 21:36:00   The one in Pittsford is just great!!! Generally, people in the service industry are only "stuck up and rude" to those customers who are "stuck up and rude." That's always been my experience. —BobbyjParm

2011-04-13 17:32:32   Charlotte is a hairstyling genius. I have thick, wavy hair that is difficult to style and she makes it easy! My 22yo daughter introduced me to her and I have been thankful ever since. She colored my salt and peper brown hair so that it looks naturally brown. The brassiness is GONE as is the shoe polish look. Thank you, Charlotte! —LynnDavison

2012-04-09 18:40:35   LOVE this place! I always come here for highlights b/c they use Goldwell color, and everyone is very nice. I like to get a manicure b/c theyll do it during your highlight to save time. —GennyListler10027
