The Lamplighter Restaurant is a restaurant located in Creekside Plaza on the corner of Fetzner Road and Maiden Lane in Greece. They serve a special German menu in January, March, June, and September.

2008-09-01 22:35:51 We went their for Christmas, the food was poor, the serice was mediocre, the only good part of the evening was the creme brulee. —carolturo
2008-09-02 10:48:50 You should never base your decision about a restaurant based on a visit for a holiday. 1.) The staff doesnt want to be there, they want to be home with family. 2.) The restaurant is usually packed, over-customered and understaffed. 3.) The kitchen doesnt have time to prepare the food properly. —MrRochester
2008-09-02 10:50:49 The lamplighter is ok food, but nothing special. With only about 3 upscale restaurant choices on the West Side, I would say this is your best bet if you wont leave the West Side of Rochester. The inside is kind of hokey. No one should ever decorate with christmas lights year round, but the Lamplighter does. —MrRochester
