ultimate frisbee scene with an organized league, many high school, and several college club teams in the area.

Greater Rochester Area Disc Association has leagues for all abilities and open pickup games year-round.
Rochester also had a professional ultimate team, the Rochester Dragons, with their first season starting in April of 2013. They disbanded in October, 2015.
Another sport played with a frisbee is Disc Golf.
