Wilshire Restaurant & Catering is a restaurant and caterer on Lyell Avenue. The restaurant operates in the Fall, Winter and Spring, with the dining room space used for dry pasta storage during the Summer peak catering season.
Wilshire's staff are self-proclaimed "salad experts" and produce over 12,000 pounds of prepared salads per week (as of Spring 2011). Their creamy-style macaroni salad, pasta salad, potato salad and cole slaw varieties are available as sides in the restaurant.

2011-04-09 09:51:49 My wife and I visited Wilshire Restaurant with some friends for their Friday fish fry on a trusted recommendation. Nearly all the tables in the small dining room were full, but we had no difficulty with parking and were seated immediately. The service was friendly and attentive, and our food came quickly. My wife's baked haddock was flavorful and done just right, my beer-battered had a good balance between fish and good-tasting batter, and the various salads and sides we received were all good and very plentiful.
