2008-02-16 16:22:48   How do we all feel about Joe Beef's comment. I know we prefer to leave comments alone, but it looks like Joe Beef's comment is trolling —EastSideStephen

2008-02-16 16:24:39   This is a personal attack and needs to be removed. Also, Bodhis is mis-represented and that info needs to be changed. Why are you stopping this? —AndrewLederman

2008-02-16 16:26:51   How does one get in touch with the sites administrator —AndrewLederman

2008-02-16 16:31:02   Eastside,

When statements are made that are totally false how does one go about removing them. I would like an opportunity to discuss this. I am not familiar with this site, just recently have I been aware of it. —AndrewLederman

2008-02-16 16:34:12   There is no administrator. This is a wiki - we make decisions as a group. Let's let some others chime in and see what they have to say. I agree with you about Joe Beef's "dickhead" comment - it's not appropriate and I'll delete that part for now. If you would like to dispute any of his other claims, this is the place to do it. —EastSideStephen

2008-02-16 16:39:20   I decided it would be best to remove for now, rather than edit it. —EastSideStephen

2008-02-16 16:42:01   Thank you, that is a good decision. Now, how does one go about making sure that a business is described properly. Bodhis is not a "coffee house" like starry nites. It is much different and has the right to be identified properly. —AndrewLederman

2008-02-16 16:48:47   You may make some factual changes to the description if you'd like. We've had some discussions in the past about business owners editing their own business' pages. We've decided it's ok, but it will be monitored a little more carefully than otherwise.
Keep it factual, and keep it in the third person. It might also be a good idea to identify yourself as the owner of Bodhi's on your user page - just so it doesn't look like you are trying to hide something. —EastSideStephen

2008-02-16 16:52:29   also, put the reasons for your changes in the "comment about this change" box. People may be less likely to undo your edits if you give your reasons for making them. —EastSideStephen

2008-02-16 17:21:50   I'm not comfortable with the article using phrases like "comfortable and elegant atmosphere" and "great food, drink, and music". I'd prefer the adjectives be removed. Certainly "great" does not belong in the description; reserve such words for comments. —StevenDibelius

2008-02-16 17:57:13   "a nice combination of" is still an opinion. Who determines what a "nice combination" is? I am not yet satisfied that the page is neutral point of view. However, I will not make edits myself at this point in time. —StevenDibelius

2008-02-17 00:28:47   I agree...Andrew the description needs to be more neutral. I would suggest editing your personal page to show you are the owner/manager if you indeed are. It will help to see your point of view —PeteB
