-11-01 16:26:59   I dropped in for the lunch buffet today (Wednesday) and the selection was excellent! I am a vegetarian so my comments are based on the vegetarian dishes I tasted. The spring rolls were perfect, the tofu-broccoli-babycorn-mushroom stir-fry delicious and the vermicilli-like noodles (flavored with cilantro) out-of-this-world. The salad selection had 7 different types of fruits, many many veggies and dried fruits and nuts. The ambience in the restaurant is cheerful and roomy. I went with a couple friends and they said they found the non-vegetarian dishes pretty amazing too. The icing to this chinese cake is the price-tag: $6.97 for an "all-you-can-eat" unbeatable chinese buffet experience. I recommend this restaurant most enthusiastically! —TinyPliny

-12-09 16:37:58   I'd never take out-of-towners here to show them what great food Rochester has to offer, but honestly, this place is pretty damn good when you just want to stuff yourself. The place looks like your average cheesy chinese buffet and the music is horrifying. Still, if yer hungry and you only got around ten or so dollars on you, you can come here and eat enough to fill you for days. The majority of food is above average for your run of the mill chinese buffet. —NoahLeaf

-01-27 17:11:16   I go to the location in Greece fairly regularly, and the quality and selection is always very good. The range of options for the Mongolian BBQ is the widest I've ever seen of any other buffet in the area. —EvanPeacock

-09-10 19:55:12   This is the best China buffet that I have been to yet. They have a wide selection of Chinese food as well as American food for the picky eater. —MClark

-09-29 01:10:58   I've gone to several of the Asian buffets in this city, and the best one is this one. It's clean, the food is actually hot and fresh, and there's a better selection than the others. That, and every time I've gone, the staff has been super friendly and very helpful. —DeeJohnson

-01-04 14:33:43   I stopped by the Jefferson location yesterday. I was somewhat disappointed in the selection of food available at the buffet. There were only two chinese vegetable dishes available to choose from. This place have been downsized a lot compared to past few years. However, I was pleased with the customer service. The waitresses were very friendly. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be visiting this place again in the short future. —AmentzRiona

-06-06 09:40:14   Honestly this buffet isn't worth the money. It's typical buffet fare but there's no sesame chicken, which I would think is a staple of chinese buffets. The buffet food is warm but never hot, I'm not an expert on sushi, but my friend said it was very cheap, and I literally couldn't swallow the piece I tried. The only saving grace is the Mongolian BBQ, the selection is great, and the food is actually hot because they are cooking it fresh. I'd be very happy if I could just go in for that. So if you're in the mood for mediocre buffet food, this is your spot. —carolturo

-03-17 09:37:12   Went here yesterday for lunch. What is normally a good experience really turned into a mess once the bill came. I usually go across the street instead to Hibachi Buffet and now I have more of a reason to do so, but I had a coupon and gave this place another shot. My coupon came from the Save Rochester Coupon Book that comes out each year and is $20. The coupon was buy two dinners and get $7 off. When I went to the register to pay, the male and female managers told me they did not have to honor the coupon. After arguing with them and attempting to grasp their "English," they said we never ordered beverages and that is why they don't have to honor the coupon. The coupon never said anything about having to order beverages and I pointed that out to them. They told me to sit back down, order two beverages, and they would take $7 off of the bill. Needless to say, we didn't do that. There was no minimum price on the coupon and it only said order two dinner buffets and then get $7 off. They agreed to give us $4 off. Not the point. After the bill was paid, the female manager continued to talk us out the door with more statements about not having to honor the coupon and how she did us a favor. While attempting to explain to her what the coupon actually said, she gave me a "whatever" while ringing up the bill. Well, I hope the $3 was worth it to them especially since I used the same exact coupon about a month ago and had no problems. I will never go back and will be contacting Save Rochester since there is a business that does not feel the need to honor their printed coupons! Waste of time and money. Never going back. —SRB
