Nalge Nunc Incorporated is located in Penfield, NY and designs and manufactures plastic products for use in "laboratory, packaging, environmental, biotech and life science applications." They also produce the Nalgene Outdoors line which includes the popular Nalgene water bottle and other general consumer products.
The Nalge company was founded in Rochester in 1949 and merged with Nunc (of Denmark) in 1995. Ownership has changed hands multiple times throughout the years, but is currently a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
