Oak Hill Country Club is a private golf course located in Pittsford offering two 18-hole courses (East and West).

Oak Hill, designed by architect Donald Ross, is arguably the most prestigious golf course in Rochester, or even Western New York. It has hosted many major tournaments, including 2 U.S. Amateurs, 3 [wikipedia]US Opens, 2 [wikipedia]PGA Championships and the 1995 [wikipedia]Ryder Cup. In August 2013 hosted the PGA Championship. The East Course at Oak Hill is routinely rated as one of the 25 best courses in America by Golf Digest (21st in 2011). [WWW]GD 2011 Rankings

Oak Hill originally was located where the University of Rochester River Campus currently is. Oak Hill and the U of R traded land in 1921, and Oak Hill moved to its current location in Pittsford (With four times more land, plus $360,000 from the University).
