2006-10-10 09:01:48 Acme pizza is not mediocre if you like a cracker crunchy thin crust. The roni slices are awesome. Acme also has rotating drafts which is nice and PINBALL which is hard to find anymore. —DarrenKemp
2006-12-13 16:43:46 Acme also has $6 pitcher specials (think Guinness, Brooklyn, NewCastle) a great selection of bottled beers from microbreweries all over the country, an all day 2-for-1 happy hour. And I don't know of another bar that has cajun tater-tots on their menu. —ChrisOroc

2007-05-04 14:51:36 I went to this place on a Monday thinking I would eat a slice of pizza alone at the bar and watch TV. It was pretty busy, every seat in the place was taken and there were several standing as well. Maybe it was the 2 for 1 beer specials. —BadFish
2007-05-11 14:06:49 Overall I like Acme but it's very inconsistent, from the food to the staff. Depending on who's in the kitchen the pizza can be anywhere from a decent approximation of NY style pizza to a dry cracker with a dollop of sauce and cheese on top. The staff can be friendly and attentive at times, or too busy talking to their friends at the other end of the bar to look around and see if anybody actually needs a drink, and cold and impersonal when they finally do get around to serving you. This is a bar that screams out for good management. —DavidPausch
