Al White was an investigative reporter for WOKR-TV (now WHAM TV-13) in the 1970's and 1980's.
He originally came to Rochester to be an engineer for General Dynamics, though he also operated a music studio, and eventually got into television reporting.
He was a frequent patron at Jay's Diner and Roncone's, where he would often receive news tips.
He died at the age of 68 in Charlotte, NC.1
