Avenue Pub is a gay bar on Monroe Avenue. It's located next to Bruegger's near the Goodman/Monroe intersection.
The entrance is on the side of the building with a small parking lot.

2008-02-23 09:32:05 Went here with friends last night. Half of us are gay and half aren't. Total of six. I was with my girlfriend so it may have been obvious I am not. While I was on the deck there was one guy giving me the hairy eyeball and making it clear he didn't think I should be in the bar. My girlfriend had to stop me from saying something to him. Maybe it was stupid of me to think I could hang out here. It's just that's where my close friends wanted to go so I went along. I'll never go to this place again and it seems the regulars would prefer it that way. Point taken. —BigPun
2008-03-26 15:32:26 I've been here several times, mostly with the husband in tow, with a mixed crowd of friends. We've never had a problem, or been approached as if we shouldn't be there. We actually find it a pretty comfortable place to hang out. —TriciaSeymour
