The Brickyard Pub was a bar on South Avenue. It closed sometime around 2004-2005. Although it was in a relatively obscure location (on the South Avenue Extension near Dinosaur Bar-B-Que) it tended to draw a typical college party-crowd. It was one of the few bars in town to have a large outdoor deck, popular with people who smoked after New York State banned smoking indoor smoking in restaurants and bars in 2003.

2013-06-02 20:31:55 In the 1950's the Brickyard Pub was known as the Riverveiw tavern. On the north side of the tavern was the Lang Trophy Store and on the south side was of course the Natatorium..My brother and I would spend a couple of hours swimming at the Nat almost every Saturday.I will always remember old "Louie the lifeguard" with that cigar always stuck in his face....Precious Memories. —DuaneColbert
