David Farley has long been considered a suspect in the AMSA Heist but has never been officially charged. Conversations recorded between Farley and prime suspect Albert M. Ranieri have been rumored to be factors in Ranieri's pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute drugs and commit murder in 2004. Farley was arrested at his Avon home in 2003 on drug charges and received a 15-year prison term in 2004 after pleading guilty. He has not been officially charged in the AMSA case and Ranieri has so far refused to name any of his accomplices.
