Elizabeth Hollister Frost was born in Rochester, New York around the turn of the century. She was married to Elliott Park Frost who was a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. After his death in 1926, Mrs. Frost began to write poetry and her first book of poems and novels which were dedicated to her late husband.
She was the daughter of Emily Weed Hollister (1857-1932) and George C. Hollister (died 1932). Interesting mention is they were family friends of Susan B. Anthony. In 1932 Elisabeth married again, this time to a man named Walter Blair. She died April 9, 1958 and is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, section G, plot 119.
