FLOUR Magazine was a free quarterly publication that covers Rochester's artists, artisans, and other local innovators. Copies could be found at Java's Cafe and read online.
Their first issue was released in March 2013.
In their own words
We created FLOUR to help further the growth of culture and community by spreading awareness and starting conversations. We were dreaming big, but as the final issue took shape, we found that the community supports big ideas. It confirms our feelings that everything is possible in Rochester. FLOUR will act as a platform for discussion, a place to propose questions, and a venue for confronting topics head-on. We want to ensure that every corner of Rochester and its diverse makeup is represented and brought together in one publication. - Founders Eve Lyons and Michael Calabrese in the debut issue
Unfortunately, they only released one issue before being replaced by Post under the same editors.
