2012-06-25 18:15:56 Actually, it might be something flopping around inside the camera, judging from the look and focus of it. That would also explain why it shows up on some images but not others. If the camera is a point and shoot with a non-removable lens, sadly you are stuck with it. You need to get good at Photoshop. —DottieHoffmann

2012-06-26 18:31:50 Sadly, we have no real camera repair shops left in Rochester, there used to be a guy on South Clinton where Ming Noodle is now, he's been gone for years. If it is a relatively inexpensive camera, it may actually cost more to open it up and clean it than simply buying a new one. Bring it over to Rowe photo along with a couple files that show the problem for them to look at. Perhaps they can suggest something or know a trick to cleaning it out.
