If nobody objects, I will delete them in a day or so —EastSideStephen

2008-10-27 16:53:40   I took care of it. —PeteB

2008-10-27 17:56:43   They may have been from three people at the same workplace. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt and restore the comments - but also post the shilling warning. —RachelBlumenthal

2008-10-27 19:15:23   Being from the same IP address does not make them shills. Further, they were made on three different days and times. The contributors each specified their context and we have no proof whatsoever that their contributions were anything but their individual opinions. Removing them is plainly censorship. There are no rules disallowing folks from using the same computer. —BradMandell

2008-10-27 21:06:50   What are the chances there are three distinct opinions coming from the same computer, posted within a few days of each other? Highly unlikely.

This isn't a court of law, and I don't think we need to set the threshold of proof so high —EastSideStephen

2008-10-27 21:16:46   There is a good discussion going on on the email list. I have discovered the IP's are a Business-Class IP which makes me suspect more that it's schilling. I'll be investigating this over the weekend. —PeteB

2009-03-10 20:16:44   LOL. karapetrakis' comment is a shill. Sister of the owner and the signature is her friend. I wager all the other one-time commenters for either of their restaurants are shills as well. True, I made the OT entry but I just cut an pasted from my site thinking this was a free directory. Sorry. Moot point now. I promise I won't shill for the new restaurant at 165 Monroe, but I HEAR they are doing a great job. Just look at the language of all the positive posts and you will see what I see. Nice one Kara. Your media and communications saavy are coming in handy.

2009-04-14 13:30:18   Wow Alex it saddens me you would be so vicious. I have always thought highly of you and your family. Additionally, I have no problem letting the world know I love my sister's restaurants and food and am very proud of her. We all know how important it is to support family and I always have admired the entire Gekas Family. I wish your family health and prosperity always. Cristos Anisti. Kara Petrakis —karapetrakis

2009-04-20 21:57:00   Karma is more vicious than I could ever be. I had a lovely trip to Napa. Beautiful country. —AlexGekas

2009-04-21 14:49:41   Admin Note: Alex & Kara-While I believe in karma, it has nothing to do with the discussion over the restaurant. There's obviously some very personal issues between you two. Please consider taking your inter-family arguments to a more private forum to work them out. Thanks —PeteB

2009-04-21 21:58:52   People work for years to build up their brands and it is not something that is a petty matter whether it be for a large corporation or a family restaurant. I apologize both to you and to Kara Petrakis who is not responsible for their poor judgment. After years of trying to be a good sport about the confusion they created, I lost it when I saw this. Please strike my comments as they do nothing to enhance this wiki. You are absolutely correct. I never went to the real Mustard's. That was karma. —AlexGekas
