Lilac Adventure Zone

Lilac Adventure Zone is a popular natural playground located in Highland Park.
It features a series of free form timber structures and large boulders made from materials salvaged from the county parks system.
There is also a row of covered picnic tables and an ADA accessible Lilac grove.
Off-street parking is available in the lot located behind the playground.
It is one of two playgrounds in highland park. The other is the more traditional Highland Park Playground

The playground was constructed on the site of the former Cornell Cooperative Extension buildings in Highland park after they were acquired and demolished by the county.
