2006-05-06 09:14:24 we had a lunch catered from there a few months back for work and it wasn't good... we all agreed to take them off our list for future events. —JcPop
2006-09-14 08:10:49 Holy *beep*, Lorraine’s has really gone down hill since she moved from Clinton. I’ve tried having her cater lunch and it’s just not worth it anymore. And the new restaurant? Well, it’s really a sports bar in disguise. I went for breakfast and the service was OK but the food was almost inedible. The French toast was literally swimming in some weird watery pool of fluid when it was served to me. And no, it wasn’t syrup. Needless to say I haven’t gone back. —ZedOmega

2007-11-26 10:38:40 Wait staff is inattentive and sometimes rude. The second time I went the waitress actually sat at our table uninvited and began to tell us a story of her recent break-up! I tried it a third time because after the second visit I was assured that the staff problems had been addressed, and I wanted to give Lorraine the benefit of the doubt. Not even a little bit.
The food was adequate once, and cold the other two times. My request to return it for warming was met with a smirk by my waitress once.
I used to love having lunch catered from Lorraines at work when she was on Clinton. Why can't people in Rochester keep from destroying a good thing? —JackPorcello
