Papa Van's Eatery was a restaurant located on North Goodman Street in downtown Rochester. They also served pizza.
The owner was arrested in late 2010 for home invasion. (same owner as Al's Green Tavern)

2009-06-07 23:12:40 Excellent fried chicken but for some reason, the chicken breast was very dried out (unlike the dark meat). The pulled pork sandwich also got rave reviews. I will be back! —OneLove
2009-06-19 23:28:20 The oxtail was good but the fried chicken was out of this world. A fellow diner remarked that this was the "best fried chicken in Rochester". I would be hard-pressed to disagree. —BatGuano
