2007-12-08 04:21:49 Why was version 52 of Park Point at RIT reverted and labeled vandalism? As I look at the diff, some of those changes were valid, despite being opinionated. For example, it is a widely accepted fact on campus that students do not like the bookstore being moved to Park Point from its current location in the SAU.
Let's be careful not to mark everything that happens on this page as vandalism just because it has a few opinions. —StevenDibelius
2007-12-08 10:14:45 Steven, since you're more familiar wit RIT, maybe you could take a shot at a revert plus NPOV edit? —RottenChester
2007-12-08 21:38:46 I took a shot at making those changes. The article is still wordy and needs some copy editing and to be broken down into sections. I'll work on that later, and keep an eye on this article since I'm pretty well familiar with the subject matter. —StevenDibelius
2008-09-17 10:45:58 The ice cream place is an Abbott's. Can someone with access to this page please add that? Thanks. —AlexanderGartley
2008-09-17 10:46:22 Also, the salon is Gallery Salon Too (closed now) —AlexanderGartley
2008-09-18 12:56:19 Also, the Greek food place is called King David's Restaurant —AlexanderGartley
2008-09-28 11:37:57 It would be great to see the section of the lehigh valley trail between here and genesee valley park paved and lighted. —EricLarsson
2008-09-29 09:54:49 Someone should update the page content to reflect that Park Point is now open, instead of "scheduled to open August 2008" —AlexanderGartley
2008-12-01 18:00:26 I clicked on the Park Point at RIT web link within the page and found a nice surprise in lieu of wanting to learn more about and try out some of the new restaurants there: awesome coupons for not only the restaurants, but the businesses too! Here's a link: , hurry up with your visits, they expire on 12/7/08! I've been to King David's and it was quite good, the Wok with You place is owned by the same folks as Golden Port and Siam (their reputation precedes them) and who doesn't like a coupon? —StephanieTodd
2008-12-04 13:14:09 Yes time to update the page to reflect the fact that the development is completed and open. Also would like to point out the rather mediocre urban design of the project. For a development that had the full support and backing of RIT, one would have hoped for a better design and not this half-baked version of "Main Street, USA" surrounded by parking lots and not particularly well linked to the residential component, the existing Radisson hotel, or the main part of the campus. Typical Rochester, another opportunity squandered. —JasonHaremza
