Reconnect Rochester is a 501(c)(3) organization working to build a more sustainable transportation network for the Rochester region. According to their website, the group's mission/vision is:

"Whether by bus, by rail, on bike, or on foot, Reconnect Rochester champions transportation choices that enable a more vibrant and equitable community. We envision a community connected by a robust transportation network that makes it easy for everyone—regardless of physical or economic ability—to get around."

Reconnect Rochester organizes an annual event each June, ROC Transit Day, to promote the use of public transit. Individual committees focus on areas including bus transit, rail transit, and safe/complete streets.

Reconnect Rochester's meetings are open to the public and meeting times/locations can be found on the group's calendar page.
