So, Grow Recordings is a Local record label

established by Tim Wilson during the fall of 2005 out of Rochester, New York. The label was built to give artists in the area an opportunity to record and promote their own music while forming a friendship and small community. Consisting of a close group of friends, all working dead end jobs, they stress warmth and a sense of being handmade in every aspect of what they do. Most early releases can be found under the name 'Girls/Trees records' and are still entirely associated with the label. The new year brings many new explorations and releases. ²
