Super Suppers was a local Perinton-based provider of a nationally franchised make and take food service that provides a way to get a home-cooked dinner every day without actually preparing the meals every day. Everything was designed to be able to be frozen, so you can eat the food right away, or freeze for later use. You had the option of preparing the meals yourself, to then take home and cook, or to select premade "take n bake" meals where they've done the work for you. Their "You Make It" options include "Walk In", Sessions or Private Parties. The "They Make it For You" options include "Grab n Go" and Pickup Orders.
You Make It:
Walk In: No reservations or minimums - check their calendar on when Walk In hours are available. If you know what you plan to make, they do recommend calling or emailing ahead so they can prep items that require it (or you may not be able to make that item).
Sessions: Sessions are available at specified times each week. These require that you sign up in advance to make a minimum of 3 Full Size Entrees (typically 6 servings) or 6 Regular Size Entrees (typically 3 servings).
Private Parties: You can schedule a time just for your group to come in and make meals. The hostess is able to earn free entrees, provided they have a minimum number of entrees ordered by their guests.
They Make it For You:
Grab n Go: Grab n Go Entrees are available in the Regular Size (typically 3 servings). There are usually about 30 different entrees available, with the selection changing daily. They send out a weekly email with information on what's currently available in the Grab n Go, and you can call ahead and reserve items. All Grab n Go selections are made per the recipe - they cannot be customized. There is no minimum order quantity when purchasing from the Grab n Go. In addition to entrees, they also have Sides, Appetizers and Desserts.
Pickup Orders: Super Suppers had an extensive list of items that can be ordered for Pickup. There are over 100 items that can be ordered, and items could be customized to your taste (e.g. no onions). They did require orders to be placed 2 business days prior to pickup (they've been known to bend this however, so call and ask if they can accomodate you if you need something in less time). There was no minimum order quantity when placing a Pickup Order.
Average entrée price was between $3 and $4 per serving. They also launched a "Supper Club". This is a monthly membership program that allows you to save up to 40% off regular entree prices.
