The Advertising Council of Rochester is a nonprofit organization that works to make our community stronger by helping nonprofits to understand and leverage the power of marketing.
Their slogan: "Be Heard"
It's the place where nonprofits can turn to get low-cost help with marketing, branding, communications planning or strategic planning.
It's also the place where marketing pros can turn to put their talents to work to make the community stronger.
The Ad Council produces public service campaigns - like the lead poisoning prevention and H2O Hero campaigns - and offers a series of programs to help nonprofits.
It also hosts a series of educational seminars, an annual spring luncheon and the Pro-Ad Golf Tournament.
