The Assisi Institute serves the process of spiritual enlightenment through the practice of Kriya Yoga and a harmonious integration of Eastern philosophy and Western mysticism.

A community of people committed to God-realization, mutual support, and selfless service, the Assisi Institute exists for the sole purpose of assisting spiritual pilgrims on their interior journey to God. We seek to nurture a contemplative environment that brings people into the intuitive awareness of God’s presence. We foster a culture that encourages a balanced, healthy, holistic lifestyle that naturally supports the spiritual process.

With Kriya Yoga and the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda as our cornerstone, the Assisi Institute integrates Eastern and Western spirituality, with a special emphasis on Christian mysticism. We honor the saints and sages of all traditions, and in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, we welcome all sincere spiritual seekers regardless of religious affiliation.

The Assisi Institute is a nonprofit organizations supported by pledges and donations. All donations are tax deductible.

Craig Bullock is the founder and spiritual director of the Assisi Institute. A Kriya Yoga teacher and ordained minister with the Center for Spiritual Awareness, Craig is an accomplished writer, teacher, lecturer, and psychotherapist who has authored books and recorded CDs on spirituality and meditation. The former Pastoral Administrator at St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church, Craig earned graduate degrees in Religious Studies from the University of Notre Dame and in Clinical Psychology from the University of Duquesne. His broad and diverse education includes extensive study in psychology, spirituality, mysticism, world religions, and yoga.

2012-06-29 00:19:43   I attended for the first time today. It was wonderful. I will be coming back Saturday if I can to participate in Qi Gong. I want to know that since I am on full disability do I have to contribute $10.00 per class. I am unable to do that now. Is there some other way that I can contribute. I am a psychotherapist in private practice. Please contact me. I want to be a part of Assisi. —saundraWeatherup
