The Autism Council of Rochester is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located at the Pieters Family Life Center.
This agency is providing education and specialized trainings about autism to the general community, schools, hospitals, and service providers. They work with existing government and private agencies to develop specialized services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to provide transition services to young adults who are learning to live, work, and attend school independently. Families who have a child with autism or other developmental disabilities are offered the education and training necessary to give their child the most opportunities in life. Programs are offered for youth 14-24 years old.
