The Country Club of Rochester a private 18-hole golf club in Brighton, on the corner of East and Elmwood Avenues. It was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest country clubs in America. It has hosted two U.S. Women's Opens, in 1953 and 1973 and the 1962 U.S. Women's Amateur. Walter Hagen grew up near the CC of Rochester and worked there, first as a caddy and later as the club professional.

2006-02-16 19:20:53 My friend had a wedding here and it was incredible. Wonderful food, huge ballroom dance floor, perdy restrooms, lots of lovely places for photos. —MariahBetz
