The USS Tranquility is an active fan organization interested in Star Trek, Science Fiction, Fantasy and more. They're not just a simple fan club though. As an active fan organization we work to serve the community.
They often travel as a group to conventions, working security at some of them and assisting the celebrities at their tables. They have helped out at the opening of Star Trek movies, appearing in costumes to promote our organization. Our meetings are times when we get together and have some fun holding discussion groups, movie nights, or having speakers address the club.
They support a variety of local and national charitable organizations by having fund raisers and donating our time. They have helped WXXI, The Arthritis Foundation, Rochester Area Multiple Sclerosis, Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, Independence Dogs, Meese Observatory, The Adopt-A-Highway Program, and many other charities.
They are always looking for new outlets for our charity work, let them know what we can do for your organizations!
